O Quam suavis est, Domine, spiritus tuus,
qui, ut dulcedinem tuam in filios demonstrares,

How sweet, O Lord, is thy spirit,
who, to show Thy tender care for thy children,
dost send them from heaven Bread most sweet,
filling the hungry with good things and
sending the rich empty away.
