| 2. Inviolata | |
| Ecce ancilla Domini Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum |
Behold the handmaid of the Lord Be it done according to Thy Word |
Inviolate, immaculate and chaste art thou, Maria who has become the glowing gate of heaven. O Mother of Christ, so kind and most dear, receive our devoted hymns of praise: that our minds and bodies may be always chaste, with fervent heart and tongue we now implore thee. Through thy sweetly sounding prayer Obtain for us, pardon for ever. O tender, O Queen, O Maria, who alone stayed inviolate. Angelus and Inviolata from Roman Gradual

| Our children must be taught,
from the earliest periods at which their minds can grasp such teaching,
the inviolable sanctity of their sexual nature - the irreparable ills which follow its abuse.
They must be saturated with the conviction that impurity is a foul and hateful sin,
that the perversion of these instincts through whatever agency is a plunge into a fathomless
abyss of turpitude from which they will never emerge with a clean soul.
